It was a freaking joke, you still don't stand a chance with him.

So first off this post is not meant to offend anyone. If you are the type of woman who would do this, you might want to think before you type, cause you just may make yourself sound super pathetic.

The other night, after having a few drinks, and being super hormonal from having just had a baby, I found myself getting angry at my husband for not staying up to watch tv with me. Yes I realize how stupid that sounds now lol. So he says to me "You are seriously getting mad at me for not watching tv with you." I tried to explai to him that it wasn't the whole tv watching thing, it was simply that late at night is the only time that the children are not up and bothering us and I can get a little attention from him, which I was craving like crazy! As I explained it to him I realized I was being a little nutso about the whole situation and began laughing at myself. After which we started joking about his "lack of paying attention to me" anyone who knows me and my husband will tell you that man would go to the moon and back for me. So I made the joke " you knowt that is why women cheat on their husbands" referring to the whole not paying attention thing.

So he posts on his facebook that I threatened to cheat on him (as a joke, no one who has been around us would have believed it for five seconds) and wouldn't you know it about 10 different girls that he knew before he met me started commenting on it and sending him messages about how if I'm threatening to cheat then its probably too late to fix the marriage. Or that is probably means I already have cheated, or that he deserves so much better than me because I'm a no good bum anyways that is just using him for his money (he is a soldier in the Army that is actually about to lose his job so I'm not sure what money he is talking about) a few even went as far as saying how much of a bitch I was and that they would never treat him that way if they were together.

He of course laughed at all their comments because none of them have even met me, they havent seen him in over five years, and it was all a joke to begin with. I just don't see how a woman can be THAT desperate or pathetic. To me it just shows that you have NO Respect for anyone else's relationship, or yourself for that matter.

Ive done that a few times, even tricked her into sending nude pics, thought about pasting them all over the internet, lol that was a few years ago though and I decided that would be a little too mesed up, although for trying to fool around with a married man she deserved it

Well.. On this one, I know you guys were just kidding but if it was so insignificant, why did he put it on his Facebook? If I had to guess, I'd say it wasn't so insignificant to him. I probably wouldn't think those girls are pathetic or anything though, because if a friend of mine wrote something like that, I would sincerely feel bad for them, and probably tell them that they deserve better.

Of course I don't know you guys or your situation, but if I were you I would try really hard to be careful about how I joke around with my husband because some things just aren't funny in any kind of circumstance. (=

we both thought it was funny, and like I said people that know us would get that it was a joke. We both have kind of a twisted sense of humor, but we both think that cheating is absolutely pointless.

FB is kind of crazy sometimes. I hope his joke isn't the gift that keeps on giving.

My dh has this girl on his fb that is such a attention whore. She can't seem to let go of a promise my dh made to her when he was 15 (he now is 34) years old.
The promise was if her marriage failed (she married some guy when they were sixteen.) that they will end up together. Well of course they divorced and she still comes after my dh..so just for kicks and giggles
when I see her posting her daily "needy boo-hoo me" I take a nice happy photo of me and dh and post it on his page. Then she comments how much she wishes she had someone to love..and I always have to say "yes my man is the best and I couldn't ask for more."
Then it gets funny when she post that this promise they had ment so much to her..and her stupid friends all baby her saying my dh has no clue what he is missing.. and I just sit back and laugh.

My guy would walk out if I joked about that. It is a threat. I tend to agree with women that if you threaten that then the relationship is over. That is a disgusting joke.

Exactly..... also if it was so insignificant and you don't care at all you wouldn't be trying to defend yourself and put down these other.women who.probably thought it was real....
