When I had it all I had to do is call once a day to see if they called my number, they never did.

Others I know have gone in and sat all day waiting to be called or we're questioned and told they were not right for that particular case and sent home

what state are you in? i'm in nj. it was the 2 most boring days of my life.

Check in at 8AM. Sit in a huge room with a bunch of other people bored out of their minds and wait to be called.

If you got called you go to the courtroom for jury selection...and wait to be called again.  if you got called again they asked you questions about whatever case and if you had any biases regarding the issue...they could either accept you or deny you to serve on the jury (never got selected to serve on a jury)...

once they have enough jurors - everyone gets sent back down to the huge room again....wait and repeat as needed until 4PM. Go home and come back next day to do it all over.

OMG, I'm 42 and have never been called for jury duty.  I hope like hell I never am!

I've been called twice. The first time I actually served a full day late into the night (paid for 2days). 2nd time I called the number all week and then never had to go in. It was just like Proudmama9799 said.
