Holy crap. I use 2 then when they are dry dd will use the same 2 and my guy uses one. We also have a bath size towel on the rack for drying hands and face after washing at the sink. An older towel will be on floor to help with wetness since neither bf or dd know how to dry off feet/legs before leaving bathtub. Why do the dogs need to be wiped down?
We each use one for showering and then one in the kitchen
3 maybe 4. the boys share one, df has one and i have one. sometimes i use one for my hair too

DH and I are really trying to cut back. We always have used one towel per person per day.
But now we are trying to re-use our own towel for 2 days.
Its hard.
We are on opposit days so today I hung up my towel after using and he put his in the laundry, averages 7 towels a week - hence once a day.
ON rain days - it can easily add up with three large dogs.
