any else already thinking about halloween?
my kids are already trying to figure out what they want to be. we used to go trick or treating with a group of friends but they have moved so i am trying to decide what to do. thinking about throwing a halloween party where kids can sleep over, popcorn and movies, snacks and candy, and games and activities. any ideas? i would love some ideas of what to do for the party.

Quoting Lizard_Lina:
I like that.
I've seen evil pizzas made where the toppings make the face and the veggies or meats are cut to make different toothy grins
Quoting Sweets27:
I've made the witch fingers with breadsticks and pepperoni for nails.
Quoting Lizard_Lina:
Hot pumpkin (hot potato)
Pin the nose on the witch
Ghost tag (regular tag but played in the dark with glow sticks)
Painting mini pumpkins
Marshmallow spiders with pretzels or licorice legs
Eyeballs made of marshmallows and candy bits
Witches fingers(rolled up cookie dough baked with green Sprinkles and a candy corn for the "finger nail" as soon as they're pulled from the oven)
Slime to drink (green juice, green sherbert, and sprite)
Quoting inspain:I wanna go to your party. All I ever make is a meatloaf and bacon hand or a "litter box" filled with brownie "cat turds" rolled in chopped pecans.
I'm actually relieved not to have to do anything this year.

I love halloween and my son will be 21 months old so he'll actually be able to walk and say "tick teet" (lol, we're working on it) and see all the other cool costumes. I'm excited!! He was Yoda last year so I'm trying to figure out how to top it this year.

I'm going to be one of the Alices from the malice in wonderland video game. Me and 6 other girls. we go to a concert every year.
I'm the mom that makes strawberry and caramel frostings with kids and then hands them spoons. I'm not the web maze mom. But I've been smart enough to be friends with web maze moms and make myself look good by association! LOL ;-)

I also make web mazes. I stretch cotton spider web into a decent sized maze in my backyard and out different colored spotlights and strobe lights against it. The glow in the dark webbing is the best. Then you do easy parlor tricks like hanging a stick above the level they walk with different lengths of fishing line hanging from it (it gives that prickly something is touching/crawling on me feeling). My so and I walk along the outsides of the web and break sticks and make ghost noises and all they can see are the shadows. It's fun.
