going "extreme couponing" wish me luck!
i'll let you know how it goes (=
*** My total before coupons - $110.59
*** My total after coupons and a gift card I had - $45.50
I'm really really upset. Maybe that sounds stupid to some people but I was just hoping to do so much better. I dont know what I did wrong and I feel really discouraged. I stayed calm, I made sure everything went smoothly, but I still messed up somehow. It's just really disappointing.
My husband is so weird. He thinks everything is a scam and that i am spending more money on things because i have coupons than i normally would, which isnt true! everything i got was stuff we usually buy, and the total before coupons is actually a little lower than what i usually spend. I know this sounds bad, but with all his making me feel like i am wasting my time and effort by doing this, i really want to show him that he was wrong. but i didnt. it just sucks

I went to Rite Aid and would have spent 170 on stuff but ended up paying about 80.
I think you did great! The tv stuff is not entirely real.
answering after the edit;
you saved a boatload!!! more money in the bank for other stuff. tell the dh to stfu & quit being paranoid.
Don't give up. Go over everything and figure out where the oops was. You will have to check over your receipt and records of which coupons you had and which actually were counted...figure if you were expecting double coupons and if they were counted or not. Once you find out where things went wrong you can plan for that next time. I think you still did awesome for your first time...you saved quite a bit.
well, i forgot i had the gift card until i got to the register, so i wasnt going to count that, but i was expecting to pay $70.13 i paid $2.60 over that, BUT i didnt use all the coupons that i was going to because 3 of the things were out of stock. So, I spent MORE on LESS, which is why I'm so disappointed. )=
