Be proud of your son. My own is in the Navy. Two years now. Her RTC was AMAZING.
Make sure you go. Get the video before you walk out the front gate. Get there at the crack of dawn if you want a good seat. Enjoy every second you have with him. Most of my daughter's unit deployed to Afghan right out of A-School. She just got lucky and hasn't went.

hotel is booked
Finances - financed
Dog and house sitter - booked and being trained!
We are stying at the red carpet inn right up the street from the base LOL its kind of a dive but you can't beat the proximity.
He's in a rush class - so a lot sailors are going right out after A schools too.
