Convertible Car Seats!!!! HELP **ETA

Our 5 month old has outgrown his infant carrier and I was wondering which convertible car seat you use!

I have a small car, 2005 Chevy Malibu. I've looked up the size4me 70 and the Myride and most of them seem really bulky. Or is that just me??

Good FF seat, but OP is asking about convertibles. Just don't want her to be confused since many people mistake this for a convertible : )

Op, lots of variables: is your kiddo on the taller or shorter side, chunky or slender? What size tops fit best right now? That will give an idea of torso height. What car do you drive?

The new Graco Size4Me is the longest lasting RF seat on the market right now. Other popular options are the TrueFit, MyRide, and the Britax seats (Marathon, Roundabout, etc) but they have slightly shorter shells.

He is 25" and 14lbs so he is tall and slender lol. Size tops??
His infant carrier is a Cosco we got from the baby shower. This is the firs time we are actually buying a seat.
I drive a 2005 Chevy Malibu. It's tiny so it can't be a huge seat. With the carrier we have I have to have the passenger seat pushed up all the way.

Why are you suggesting this to a mom of a 5 MONTH old, who still has to be rf for a minimum of 7 more months?

OP- we have a graco MyRide 65. We love it as well as our daughter. I have also heard great things about true fit.

I know. The girls are 3 and 5. There's no need for us to rear face them.

Quoting MommyBoha:

It doesnt rear face

My almost three year old is RF in a Scenera, but that's because we're broke. I want to get a S4M70 when we can so I can turn my soon to be five year old back around for our trip to AL for Christmas.

True Fit is AWESOME!! It will fit them until they are 65lbs (forgot height, but my daughter still fit in it at 9) and you don't have to rethread the harness to change the height (BIG BIG perk). Very easy to install too.
