See what CafeMoms are saying about saving time this holiday season..
So DD is sick. I knew it was inevitable because she just started daycare. She got a cold, she got a little better, we went back to school/work. Well there is this baby in her class, who is beyond sick. Coughing, green mucus coming from his nose, and his eyes are draining mucus too.
Since I work at the school, I know for a fact that we tried to send him home twice. His mom came in, throwing a huge fit, saying that because he was cutting his molars, that is why his eyes were draining mucus.
Never in my life have I heard such a thing.
So she keeps him home on Tuesday, but Wednesday brings him back. He is just as sick, if not worse.
But his mom swears up and down he is not contagious and he is not sick. "Its just because of his teeth! I swear he is not sick! He doesn't have a temp, check him yourself!"
Yeah...bullshit. My daughter now has mucus coming from her eyes. She is NOT cutting any teeth. She has been diagnosed with a viral infection, which lead to a sinus infection which lead to an ear infection. I know all this because I'm a good mom who took her child out of daycare at the first sign of a fever, and took her immediately to the doctors.
I now have to call her doctor back and let her know about the eye mucus. When we were there this morning, she was not draining from her eyes. After she woke up from nap, it has been non stop.
She is now on antibiotics, and hopefully soon she will get better. And she will not be returning back to daycare, nor me to work, until she is fever free and no longer has mucus draining from her face.
Why do people have children if they do not want to take care of them!?! Your kid has mucus draining from his fucking eyes and you get mad that you have to come pick him up. I feel like calling CPS on this woman, what a fucking shitty excuse for a parent.
So frustrating! I knew my DD was going to get sick, but she probably would have just gotten a cold, and been fine. Instead, she was stuck in a classroom with that poor horribly sick baby, and she has exactly what he has.
Coincidence? I think not.
