What is yours this year?

When I budgeted out a $ amount for each person I had to get gifts for my budget was about $1,325 but DH asked me to keep it at about $1k. I plan to spend the most on DH and the boys of course. DH would be about $200, My 3yo about $200 and my 4mo will get $100. I was going to do less for the boys but I decided to go ahead and get them their clothes for the year too. Everyone else I am buying for ranges from $10-$50 depending on who it is. We are in the process of buying our first house so I am going to try to keep it as low as possible!

Holy crap! We're spending around 400 this year because we have to save for a house/pay off cards.

We're about to buy a house, and we're getting married this year.

I don't even want to think about Christmas! Lol

I should though or else I'll be super stressed in a couple months. Aside from a few little things we will probably do mostly stuff for Bell this year. A house and a wedding is enough of a present to each other for us!

I don't set a budget. I have a limit I spend on certain people but for DH and the kids, I just get what I know they would like/need/want. DD is great to buy for because she likes everything so if she needs underwear, she's thrilled to get it from Santa. LOL! DS is 12 so his gifts are more expensive, smaller and he usually gets less in terms of quantity.

We don't really have one. I spend what I want but don't go crazy.

I spend about $300-400 max on everyone...usually $200 of that is on my girls

We usually spend about 750-800 about $200 per kid, $100 a piece on each other, Then the rest goes to the rest of the family. That does not include any decorations, wrapping paper, gift bags, etc.

Im hoping to stay under $500. I promised DH I would cut back this year. They really do have enough crap. lol. And since they are getting older, esp DS.. he wants big money items
