Would you let your 14 year old

Posted by   + Show Post
My dd was nominated by her teacher for a program called People to People Student Ambassador. If she's picked (chances are slim) she would go to Either Whales, Ireland or Scotland for the summer. Kinda like a foreign exchange student. I don't have all the details yet as I still have to go to the Information meeting in November. The cost of the trip is somewhere between $4000 and $8000. would you let your 14 year old go?

It really depends on all the details. Where she is staying, with whom..etc.

But yes, if I had the money and it all sounded good, I would let her go.

If I could afford it. I would pack her bags now for the trip cause i would be so excited for her. It's a great experience and she will meet people from every country.

If there was proper supervision and I had the money - yes. What an opportunity!

My 15 year old sister has been getting them every year since she was 10. This year she got the same one your daughter got and one for China. She's not going.

Y friend was a part of people to people when we were in high school. She had an amazing time and there are chaperones with them at all times
