Do you let your children keep their halloween candy or do you take it to the dentist for a measly 2 bucks? my kiddos keep their candy but they only eat a few pieces a week

I let my DS1 keep it. But I definitely monitor his intake of it.

They can eat all the candy they want Halloween night. Then it goes in the trash. They are only 5 and 3 when they get a little older they will be allowed to gorge themselves on candy for a full 24 hours before we throw it away.

Why take them trick or treating andd then tell them they cant keep the candy? Thats like going to a buffet and saying you can only have salad. We will be keeping ours.

i let my kiddos have candy but i diviy it up

We go through it and try keep what they like. I'd say 80% of it goes to waste. They don't eat much candy.

I let my son keep it. We monitor his intake. also we take out the ones that we like :)
