I wanna do something like this when I move into my house...

The frames will be black. All of my photos will be black and white. I was wondering what size do you think this picture will look best in?

1 mom liked this

gorgeous, it'll look good in any size, it kind of depends what kind of effect you're looking to achieve.  I'd like it a huge 11 x 14 so I could feel like I was there.

Thank you! I like the whole different sized frames look. I guess I'll just have to play around with them when it comes time to hanging them. I was thinking 8x10 but I didn't know if that would be too big next to the other frames.

given the scope of the wall, it looks like they used 11 x 14,

8 x 10 & 5 x 7's  .... although, I think that is the size of the frames on the wall, not the pics.  The matting takes up a great deal of the photo space

Yeah, I noticed that. I wanna try and find frames that don't have too much space between the actual picture and frame.

Not sure.  I like the idea, but not the fact  that the frames are all touching.

I wasn't sure about the frames touching either. But I think it looks good here since there is so much space between the picture and frame. The frames I have in mind have a thicker frame so I probably won't have them touching.

The matting marries the white wall to the photo, its a spatial thing I think?

That one is so cool. You could get it blown up huge and make a mural out of it.

I just googled and noticed that most thick frames have that. I just hope it looks good because I don't plan on having a white wall.

Love the picture!!!  I would say an 8x10" or 11x14".
