1 christmas gift per child.

I'm so upset. My husband have this awesome ( Not really) idea to get one gift per kid. I had everything planned out what i was going to get my kids and he just crushed them... Oh well :(

Dh has this idea as well. We are doing 2 gifts plus pajamas per kid and a stocking with candy and dollar items. They get presents from family as well so it's not like they won't have anything. I am kind of bummed but we can't really afford a lot.

I'm doing 4 each plus Santa

They will each get something they want, something they need, something to wear and something to read.

However they will get their Santa.gift and stocking plus as a tradition they get new pajamas on Christmas eve

Out of curiosity, why does your husband's idea automatically trump any other? If that really isn't what you want to do, you should discuss it and find a comprimise. Not that I think your kids will suffer at all, Christmas isn't about how many presents you get, but I'm wondering why his say counts only.

Why are your plans crushed?  Talk with him about what can be affordable to your family and go from there.  Never fun to have this kind of idea sprung on us when we have things planned out , i agree.

No, they still get that. I got everyone else gifts Im done with everyone else. He just want to do one gift per kid.
He said it's pointless to get them Christmas gifts when everyone else is buying them stuff.
