I'm a hockey mom, ask me anything

I just woke up, got my coffee pot going and thought I would sit down at the computer for a little while to see how things were going on here. I couldn't think of a thread to start so I started this thread. Thought it would be a neat idea.

Do  you have good dental insurance?

How are you kids coping with the lockout?

Oh yes we have excellent dental insurance.

They hate it and want hockey back.

We have talked hockey before...so my question is...How is your son's team doing this year??

My season is crazy..I have 3 kids playing on 4 teams. They are doing great.

He is doing outstanding, thanks for asking. He is in his second season of junior hockey and is the starting goaltender for his team. He's got a 16-0-1 record, his one loss came in overtime, the kid that scored the goal tricked Collin and scored on him. But he's been awesome in net, his GAA is 2.09 and his save% is .950.

He switched teams this season though. He was playing on a team with his older brother last year, my son Danny and after Danny moved to Colorado to play hockey out there Collin didn't want to play for that team anymore because some of the older kids didn't like him so they now have a rivalry with each other and Collin beat his old team twice this season already, they've only played twice. He got a shutout against them and they won 5-1 the second game. He's very upset about the NHL lockout and wants to play in the NHL. He's now 16 years old and on his way to stardom it looks like.

Do you think the fighting in professional hockey enhances the game?
