Anyone take their baby off formula early?

Hi. This is my 3rd baby and the only one I have struggled to get to eat. He is a very picky eater but when he finds something he likes he'll eat tons and more than my 7yr old. I have to find ways to sneak fruits and veggies in so I make him smoothies. He will be 11 months in 2wks and is on almost all table foods. He was bf till 9 months but he didn't ever take much and still doesn't with bottles. Did anyone stop formula early?

I usually start weaning them off it around 10 or 11 months, mixing half and half. Both of my boys are allergic to milk, so I will probably start my youngest on soy around 10 months, half and half with his formula.

Mix the formula with the smoothies?  I personally would wait. A lot of development happens each month, and introducing too much milk too soon can cause issues with digestion.

I think mixing the formula into the smoothies is a smart idea.  Formula is made with the intention of supplying everything a growing baby needs.  Table foods can not do that usually.  At this age it is ok to be a bit picky but work on broadening his palate slowly.  Never rush a baby's growing process or it could end badly.
