If she really likes a teacher then she may get them something but I don't get something for every teacher.

My kids aren't that age yet, but we will not do teacher gifts past 5th grade.

My kids aren't old enough yet still in elementary but I wouldn't because they would have 8 teachers minus specials.

my kids have 10 teachers and they are in preschool!  i feel bad but we're not doing teacher gifts other than the main 4 teachers/assistants.  I don't have the time to run around pricing things and buyign things for extra teachers as well as my own family and friend's gifts. it's just insane to think you should need to do that.  a card should be good enough..

If the kids want to give an end of the year gift to any teachers, at any age, I will gladly help them send something.  But, I don't just buy for everyone (especially not teachers the kids hated). At my kids old school, even the first graders had 3-4 classroom teachers, plus 'specials' teachers (gym, library, computers, science lab, music).  Most of the time I would just contribute to a class gift at the end of the year.....and a little something extra is the kids had a special teacher they wanted to give something to.
