Does anyone have a boy with pierced ears?

My 7 year old son is askin to have his done. I don't really know how I feel...
Do I let him or no?
How do you get it done and have it looks tasteful? Do they have specific jewelry for boys?

My son just turned 7. he got it at the end of the summer. we got it walmart. he just got a stud.

Yep! My daughters don't have their ears pierced either. And they won't for a long time!

My nephew had his done when he was really little (about 6-7 months old) His mom took it out for a while and put it back in per his request. He wears a little diamond in it.

if he wants them, let him. i dislike baby boys with them. boys most of the time do not want them. however i love little girls with them. my dd has her done.

At first I wasn't sold on it, but both presented their reasons for wanting it done.   My oldest wore small studs, diamonds or monogrammed.  

My youngest had a VERY SMALL gauged ones, and wore them accordingly.  

Actually they looked good,  they didnt look like JR hoodlums or gang members.

He's worn various styles. If he wears studs, I prefer square ones on him. He's worn regular diamond studs and black studs. He also wears different hoops from places like Spencer's and Hot Topic. His last ones were blue, and his current ones are black. It's just a matter of personal preference, for the most part. I prefer the black studs, but he loves his black hoops.

All 3 of my sons were pierced before they started kindergarten. Back then it was just one ear. That was their only complaint that they had to get the other done layer
