I freaked my sister out at Thanksgiving dinner

My sister is 20. She and I are very close. After we ate dinner, we were all sitting around the table talking to grandma and the baby started kicking. I grabbed my sister's hand and put it on my belly so she could feel it. She immediately started shaking, her eyes got watery and looked like they were about to pop out. She said "if it kicks I'm going to freak out". I took her hand away from my belly and kinda laughed because I've never known anyone who thought that a baby kicking in the womb was freaky and, in her words, disgusting. Lol

After that, my cousins and I, my mom and grandma were all talking about our births and my sister was soo freaked out by it all. She has always said that she's never having kids, she hates kids, pregnancy is disgusting, etc. I think last night's stories only made her decision all the more solid. Haha

My ex boss used to say I had an alien in my belly. All the girls(I worked with younger girls) would feel my belly when my dd would move and think it was cool. Not my ex boss. She was totally creeped out by it. The look on her face was sheer terror. One night I was standing really close to her. I was about 3 weeks from my due date and really huge. It was almost like my dd reached out and touched her. LOL Just my belly bumping her when my daughter moved sent her into a panic. I dont think she will ever have kids.....

I think it's funny when people are grossed out by totally natural stuff. I mean, I'd rather not be covered in feces or blood but seeing the stuff doesn't phase me.

That is the one thing I LOVE about being pregnant!  I love the movements and kicking.

Dh finally got to feel Baby Girl move on Saturday right after breakfast.  Now this is our 4th child, 3rd pregnancy.  Twins last time!  He's felt the movement of the babies before in my other pregnancies.  He looked grossed out when he felt her move.  Oh well!  He will get used to feeling the baby move.  He really likes it once the baby is here tho.

I had a wonderful morning this morning laying in bed and Baby Girl started moving around.  I just laid my hand on my tummy and felt her move.  So cool!

My best friend was like that in a way.  She didn't want kids, didn't like kids, etc.  Then she got married and they now have the cutest little boy who she just LOVES!  LOL!
