ugh I think I messed up my christmas shopping!

As I'm wrapping christmas presents. I realize that dd2(2 yrs old) has more gifts than my dd1(4 yrs old). I am not sure how that happened because I spent the same amount on both kids. Ugh what I should've done was by the same amount of things for both instead of putting up the same amount of $ for both. I feel like a retard because of this. I dont want one to feel we love one more than the other. I just made sure to keep their christmas money in different envelopes and pay for each ones items at different times. This is irritating because now my tree looks lopsided with more gifts on dd2's side! I dont want to go over budget by buying dd1 more things but I'm running out of options here.

Put some of dd2's gifts away for birthday or next Christmas.

Extemely in my case. Hell dd1 and 2 are completely the opposite. Dd2 is like my artist/tomboy/adventurous child and dd1 is my reader/girly girl/routine lover child.

Just explain that her gifts are bigger better and cost more because she is a big girl now. The baby has lil baby presents. Or rewrap the babys presents, put several together in one box, even things out.

That would be a year wait for both. Dd2's bday was in september.

wrap them together.  Combine some of the younger ones gifts.  I doubt either child is counting at 2 and 4 and they sure don't know how much money was spent because " Santa" is probably bringing them  Don't sweat the small stuff

Anything small enough to put in an Easter basket?

Maybe you can even it out with some things from the dollar store? Or do this?

Why not bundle a few gifts into the same package?  Problem solved.

It's ok. You're overthinking it. Leave things as they are and watch their eyes light up on Christmas.
