No...just kidding. I've used the Betty cricket recipe for years. Its classic and easy. However recently I tried Paula deens and it really good. You can also go to allrecipies and find ideas.

We do something similar to the recipe above. Dijon and sour cream are key to the stroganoff taste.

Super easy, Have thin strips of beef, nothing too thick because you want to cook it fast.

about a lb.

Sautee the beef quickly with some butter. when beef is done remove ,

add to the same pan with all the beef yummies in it, about a half a cup of shallots cut small for about 3 or 4 mins.

take shallots out

add about a cup of sliced mushrooms, few more tbls butter and cook them about 5 mins or so.

add about 2 tble of beef stock to deglaze the pan, scrape all the good stuff off the bottom

add beef and shallots back into the pan

turn the heat down, add a cup of sour cream.. it should be room temp or not cold!

add white pepper, nutmeg and salt.

stir until warm (do not scald the sour cream, so keep stirring, and do not let it boil)

serve over egg noodles.
