Do you try to forgive those who have wronged you during this time of year?
I am battling with forgiving my estranged father for certain events that happened during the summer, we haven't spoken since then. Even though I am still angry...I am sad, and even though our relationship was rocky...I miss him during the holidays :(
But, my pride, doesn't let me make the first move...the first step toward forgiveness.....

no. Christmas has nothing to do with when I choose to forgive .
many people confuse forgiveness with a feeling but its not. its a choice.

I don't hold grudges whatsoever so... lol. I've never understood the point in it.

If I had someone to forgive I probably would. Forgive him so that you can move on. It doesn't have to be for him, let it be for you.

No. Forgiveness comes when it comes. For me forgiving has absolutely nothing to do with reconsiliation.
