What type of Christmas tree do you have/like? Fake or real? Why?

Posted by   + Show Post

I always had a real Christmas tree when I was married...but always felt bad for the waste of cutting down a perfectly good tree.  Now I am divorced, and got a fake one...I love it because you can re-adjust the braches to accomidate an ornament that isn't fitting too well!!!

I love my fake tree!!!

Real trees never look nice they are sloppy and uneven. I wouldn't be able to take that.

Here's my tree

And a close up of the branches

Fake! We got it on dd's 2nd Christmas, after a stressful 1st Christmas with a real tree. We've had it 11 years now. I also hate the way real trees smell. It seriously makes me want to vomit. I ♥ our $20 fake tree.

Fake, because vacuuming pine needles out of carpet is a pain in the ass.  I tend to forget to water the tree anyway.  I don't have that problem with a fake tree.

We do both. We own an artificial tree, and sometimes use it, and sometimes we get a real tree. I get a cedar tree if we get a real one. It depends on our holiday plans and how much we will be around to care for a live tree. (Cedar trees don't "loose needles" and my dd is allergic to the pine, this way we get the nice smell and no problems) :)

A good friend of mine and her family own a Christmas tree farm. When we buy a real tree, we go there. It is supporting her family & a small local business, as well as they have VERY good prices, and we cut our tree that very day! Can't get any fresher than that!

REAL.

Fake are ugly, and not holiday spirit.

And if you do it right itll look fine! Ive never had a tree look uneven before.

And I love the smell and look.

Also real trees are fire protected depending in where you get them.
