Do they say the pledge of allegiance?

And how do you feel about that?

They say it every day. I don't have any issues with it. My dd got to lead the whole school in the pledge when she was in 1st grade, I went & video taped it. I was proud.

I'm not sure if they do at this school, I haven't asked. They did at their previous school, and that was fine with me.

Yes.  It makes me proud that they do say it as well as do color guard.

Yes. Why would anyone be upset about it?

I just asked my 5 year old son and he said they do and even recited it for me lol. Then he went on to say they also do the 3 cheers for the red white and blue and recited that as well lol. I don't have a feeling one way or the other but I think its nice.

well because it states that this "one nation under "god"'

Not everyone believes in the christian version of god.

And the modern day pledge did not have this term added until 1954.

Yes she does.  She is four in pre-school.  The pre-school is in a church basement.  Makes me proud.  All of it including one nation UNDER GOD!

It is a part of the american traditions/heritage so others need to adapt. That being said no school I have gone to would force you and some chose to stay mute during the "under god" part , reciting the rest with class.
