my 17 year old was camping in November when he was stuck by a twig
in his lower arm
at time it bleed bad
but now a month on its still bleeding When he knocks it or has a shower
We have been trying to keep it dry and clean only dressing it when it bleeds
How long do you think it will keep bleeding
How long should I wait
it seems silly to go anywhere as its no bigger then a pin prick
but when it bleeds Boy does it bleed

he should probably be seen by a doctor. If a pin prick has been bleeding for that long without scabbing over and healing, there is something wrong.

I have to agree with the first reply. It should have scabbed over or healed by now. I'd go get it checked out.

Sounds like he might need a stitch or three.

looks a bit infected...and it also appears to be over a vein, which would probably be why it keeps bleeding.

Quoting madhouseof5:

this is the bleeder
