Do you let your children watch spongebob?

I have always thought spongebob himself was cute. I think he's a cute little sponge. On the other hand I think the cartoon is inappropriate for children at times or from what I have seen of it. Oldest ds is 7 and I never let him watch it on tv. I have bought spongebob item though such as a blanket. My 2 yo ds is obsessed with him as my husband loves spongebob so much he even dvrs it.

What are your thoughts on spongebob?

yes i do but then my son is 17... my daughter 11 doesn't like him

my kids dont watch it, there was a study that shows it lowers iq..i also think its obnixious..but i think most everything on tv is obnoxious which is why we dont have cable.

Yeah, my 6 and 3 yo's love him and for me, its just a silly show

My son watches it sometimes. He's liked it since he was 1, not sure why lol but I've never seen anything wrong with it.

I can't stand sponge bob so if the kids watch, its when I'm not around. They are starting not to like it bc he days bad words. So that works for me.
