It was such a good Christmas this year. I got to see my family and we had a great time without fighting on Christmas Eve..that is a miracle in itself. Also, for some reason I just understood and really took-in the meaning of it this year, more than I have in the past. I don't want it to end. My son is watching Home Alone now and the children were singing Christmas songs in the Catholic church and it was beautiful. So traditional and magical sounding. I miss Christmas.

(okay, this also could be my hormones from pregnany talking)

Its always a little bitter sweet. All the time and preparation, then its over.

Though I am excited to put it all away and have my house back.

 Its such a rush...the shopping, planning,cooking, baking...more planning, traveling...the build up

Then its over.........................and the let down....lol

This year has been the BEST Christmas since my moms passing(2006).  It was our first Christmas MARRIED.....My stepson was with us....was just perfect.

Looking forward to many more awesome Christmases

We had a great Xmas but I'm glad it's over and super glad that my house is back to normal.

I always miss Christmas when it's over. I never want it to end. I love the Christmas season so much - decorating, Christmas carols, buying gifts, going to holiday parties - and then poof - it's all over and we have to wait another year for it.

I always miss Christmas,as evidenced by the fact that some years past the tree was getting ready to be decorated with eggs and bunnies. The house feels too empty without christmassy decs- the warmth and clutter actually make me feel great.I think it's a reminder and culmination of everything good -too bad  no one can hold onto the feeling alittle longer!cat

I miss the feeling of Christmas...in the weeks leading up to it, everyone seems filled with a little more joy, compassion, and cheer. Now they're just back to being assholes.
