I've already tried looking this up but can't find the answers I'm looking for.
Does anyone know in Pennsylvania is child support determined by the spouse and non custodial parents income or just the non custodial parents income. Basically if you remarry is both of your incomes looked at in determining child support, or just the person who would owe it's income??
Anyone know? Links if you have them, personal experiences would be great as well.
I'm not sure but I would think just the non custodial parents income.
Thats what I was thinking, as my dad is retired now, but still paying out the same amount but he's also remarried, and the ex is wanting to go after him for more because she thinks he has a ton of money cause of a business the new wife owns.

She can try but it might backfire on her........but on the other hand PA is ruthless about child support.....at least that is what I have seen.
I am assuming if they are married, they would count both incomes, that's the only answer that makes sense.
PA is horrible with CS.
Addisons bio dad is behind, I called when he got out of jail and told me
"He is in a half way house, we cant do anything. And while he is in jail there ia not a case."
And I was on cash, so they were to go after him. Didnt.
My sperm donor, 14, 000 in back....state wont go after him.

And wont take new spouse into consideration.
But PA is horrible with CS.
My sister gets paid....like clock work. My ex bil pays the max for 3 kids.
My BIL pays his CS...with no problem.
If they can't do anything...they can't...but that doesn't stop you from trying.

And yes they couldve done something....while in jail they can get jobs. And even if it is 10cents an hour it still shouldve been taken.
But oh well, im cancelling it because he is worthless and she has a daddy.
But the good thing about CS is that itll always be on his credit. So oh well fpr him.
