2013 GOALS (not "resolutions")

  • 13 Replies

  • complete process with Office of Civil Rights
  • stay at job (at least) one full year: OCTOBER 1ST
  • breastfeed until July (pump at least 5 times per day)
  • attend one cleanse during 2013
  • exercise 30 minutes 3 times per week 
  • work to lose 60 pounds by December
  • go to Meeting 2x per month 
  • save 5-10% paycheck every month for one full year
  • go to Emerald Downs at least 3 times during the season (MID-APRIL THRU MID-SEPTEMBER)
  • take one vacation for at least 3 days
  • go camping at least once
  • go on two dates per month
  • have family time once per week 
  • have 6 massages during the year
  • help Miranda finish 3rd grade 
  • engage Miranda in extra curricular activities (swimming/gymnastics/art/skating) 
  • help Chris finish high school
  • help Mom with bills and organize house
  • balance Girl Scouts - 4 hours per week (goal) with some exceptions such as large events
  • clean out storage unit (get rid of junk and organize everything else) 
  • continue to declutter life and scale back wherever possible (rather than accumulate junk)
  • clean house at least twice per month
  • wash laundry at least once per week
  • read 25 books
  • spend 6 hours or less on the internet per week / spend more time with friends
  • take french pastry class (work towards mastering): Pastry Craft
  • renew archery certification 
  • renew food handler permit DONE 01/02/2013

LONG TERM GOALS:

  1. reach healthy weight 120-140 lbs and maintain
  2. finish writing cookbook
  3. write other books (children/fiction)
  4. own & operate B&B (hopefully with DH) AND/OR own my own home
  5. continue to be an outstanding Girl Scout Leader
  6. love and know my children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and possibly great-great grandchildren
  7. live to be 100 and walk under my own power

Be more productive ,Get healthy in mind and body maybe lose(20/25 pounds if that),Learn to Meditate more,Stop drinking,Start tanning again... and just completely love myself !

i saw you had loose weight on the list. i dont know if you have a smart phone or not but if you do there is an app that is free called 'my fitness pal' that really helped me. im on 1200 calories a day which was hard at first. i was surprised at how many calories something had in them! but im down 8 pounds with its help and have abt 18 more to go ( i think...ill loose 8 more and reevaluate from there). it even has food on it from restaurants so when you go out to eat you just type it in and it tells you how many calories the things have :) GL with the list!

Those are great goals. Goals need a plan and steps. Do you have the plan of how you will achieve these goals?

1. Read 100 books.  ( had this goal last year and fell short)

2.  Get a job

3.  work out a budget and stick to it.

4. Loose anothe 20 lbs  (this one is iffy  not sure if its really healthy to loose another 20)

5. Save money for a family vacation next year.

My main goals are to get healthy and stay healthy. This will include losing weight and staying on top of health problems.
