did you have a gender reveal party?

Im currently 10 wks pregnant with number 3 and im trying to decide to do a gender reveal party or not for when we find gender out. i didnt with my last two i had never heard of.it.

Yeah, it was called delivery!  I didn't know the sex of either of my kids before I had them.

I was wondering that too. But no way, that would be silly, no one would know then what the gender was. And its not a shower.

I would think it would be more of a dinner party.

Well in that case then I think I had one. lol  Everyone came over for some coffee and cake and some snacks and i announced we were having a boy.  My intention when inviting them was to show them all the sonogram where the dr circled the area that showed he was a boy and wrote nice johnson  lol  He was not only our first boy but our first child and dh almost made a copy for everyone  lol

wtih my girls my son couldnt keep his excitement down  and announced to everyone  that momma was having a girl  the 2nd time it wasnt so much excitement as it was disapoinment but again announced it was a girl before i could have a "party"

from what iv seen no, you just play games that give hints at the gender and then have a cake or cupcakes that are the color of the gender (pink=girl, blue=boy, you know that kinda thing)

We didn't do a gender reveal party. My cousin did the one where they ut into a cake & found out based on the cake color. A friend did the box of balloons.
