My dh has a good day job but wants to invest some of his retirement by opening a bar with a friend. Sounds kind of risky to me and I cant exactly go there and help him out we have a lot of kids. So I figure we would see him even less. He wanted to hear my thought.
What would do?

How much money do they have? Is it a bar that already is there and they are taking over? I am not sure I would be okay with it

1 mom liked this
Tell him to call the county and ask what a liquor license for a bar goes for and what it costa to get a place zoned for liquor. He'll probably change his mind.

My husband wants to open a brew pub. Im fine with it. By the time he gets it up and running my youngest child will be in middle school at the very least. I support my husbands dreams, if it fails it wont be because I didnt try my damndest to help him reach it.

I would be honest with him... Maybe if you support his decision and he has a good plan then suggest it only be open Thursday- Saturday to start with so yall can still see him and as a family decide if its going to be worth the time and money for full business
