Why did you have a c-section?

I had one cause my DD was breech and stayed that way my whole pregnancy. They would have had to break her hips if I tried to have her vaginally.

I honestly don't remember, which is funny because labor progressed so fast I didn't have any drugs. I'm guessing it wasn't too bad though. I found out later if I had squatted, I probably could have had him. Pisses me off that the nurses waited until AFTER my c-section to suggest that one. I would have had no c-sections. Babies 3 & 4 were both smaller than my only vaginal delivery :/

Oh I know. :-). We too are very thankful things have turned out as well as they have. I struggled for nearly 3 years with the thought that I nearly lost him at 34 weeks. Now I just appreciate the amazing kiddo he is but it sure took a long time to get there.

Just naturally HUGE I mean he is 27 now and its still way bigger than everyone elses but luckily no problems

i got preaclamsia. throwing up, blacking out, falling, the works so I had to be induced. 18hrs of potcin induced labor, water broke, and an epidural i wasnt dilatng and DD hadnt drop. each contraction was lowering her hb so my midwife got the doctor in for the cs at 350 am. I was 36wks 6days. my DS was a repeat bc our hospital dosent do VBACs :-(

4 hrs of pushing?? How can they let you push that long? I did for maybe an hr on average with mine.

They did. My hospital has a very high c-section rate. Plus, obviously, they get paid more to perform a surgery. They do have excellent nursery nurses though :)
