Can I wake him up?

I am sleeping on the floor in my bedroom. DH and both kiddos are in my bed. So I got demoted to the floor. DS and I both have the flu.

I woke up a few minutes ago and feel really awful. I want a drink, some Tylenol, and a tissue.

Can I wake DH up to get it for me? Or should I get off my lazy butt and do it myself?

(In 4 years together, and 2 years of marriage, I haven't ever asked him to get or bring me anything.)

----

Edit to add:

So none of you ladies would hesitate to wake your SO if you were up sick in the middle of the night?

I say go for it... I am sure you would bend over backwards for him... I know my husband would jump at the bit to help me out when I am sick (I don't get sick often so he doesn't get to baby me much)

Aww thanks.

I think he would be mad. So, I don't think I will.

Besides, he'll turn on all the lights and be noisy. The kids are trying to sleep.

I just wanna be a little selfish and be taken care of.

Why are you married to a man who lets you sleep on thr floor and won't help take care of you while sick?

That is some bullshit.

I usually don't go there, but ya this time I totally agree. He should have been demoted to the floor if anyone had to.

He just really loves his sleep. So, I try to be accommodating to that.

And, as for taking care of me, he doesn't understand that I'm not superwoman. He, like the kids, thinks I am always 100% fine. He just doesn't get it.

My husband doesn't take care of me when I am sick either. I know what you mean by you just want to be taken care of. Can't you sleep on the couch at least? Though you deserve the bed. Feel better!!

Lol, but he's more comfortable on the bed.

Nah, DS is sick too. I don't want to be too far away from him in case he needs me.

I just wish DH was more nurturing sometimes. I feel like death right about now.
