I went to sleep early last night, I woke up early because me son was in my room. I asked him what he was doing, he said he was looking for something (I can't remember but it was not the laptop). I told him to get out of my room and go to bed, and I went back to sleep. I  got up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom, I went in his room to check on him. I notice the laptop in his room, I asked him why was it in there. He told me my younger son had it, I picked it up and put in my room. When I got on the computer I SAW BOOTY, i don't know how to put a parental lock on it. My 17 yrs old be looking at it, so now my 12 yr old picked up this habit. I gave him this laptop for christmas, how do I talk to him without loosing my COOL.

I think it's natural and you should have no reason to lose your cool. I am not sure what to suggest if you don't approve.

I am worry about my my 9,7,and 6 yr old looking at it, which I just found out they was all looking at it. I don't want them to think this is all there is to sex. I need to know how to talk to them about sex and not be ashame. I guess this is how my topic should of read.

2 moms liked this

Heres the thing, if you make a big deal about it there will be negative connotations for the rest of their lives. They wont speak to you about it when they are ready and may have issues talking about it in the future.

You should tell them that its inappropriate at this point in their life and then you need to figure out how to put a block on the laptops/computers they access.

not sure how to do the parental lock on it either...I would have to keep in with me and the only time he can use it is with me in the room....I mean I know its natural for a 12yr old boy to do so but I still wouldn't want him looking up porn cause you can get some nasty computer viruses(just ask my brother)

Quoting mamaofficer: I did'nt fuss at them, I just told them they are too young too be looking at that now. I told them that this stuff will be around when they get older. I just don't want them getting the wrong idea.

And I agree with Sparklebug86, you need to talk to him and let him know he can talk to you.
