Do you have an idea how long it takes to clear? There is no school Monday, so Tuesday do you think he's be good to go?
Sorry I know these are pita questions, google isn't my friend

Quoting Bax:

I say yes, others will disagree.  Need antibiotic ointment.  The problem is if you have kids in daycare or school they can not attend with an active case of pink eye.  Also depending on your job (food service for example) you can't work with pink eye (at least not in our state).

yes, conjunctivitis needs prescription drops to clear it, and be sure to throw away any eye makeup you use as it will contaminate it and come back.

trust me please, no joke to spend months of it going from 1 eye to the other

Lots of things are contagious that don't require a dr.
A cold is contagious, that wouldn't require a dr.

Quoting Buggy979:

Well if you know its contagious then why are you asking if you should go to the Dr?.

Quoting arpazia:

I know it's contagious. I didn't know if there was some OTC drops, I didn't want to go dr to the dr like some dumbass! Lol

Quoting Buggy979:

Yes, yes yes.. highly contagious

There used to be some over the counter drops you could get @ CVS. Or try the CVS Minute clinic they maybe able to give you something.
