Ok so we are taking bets,my sister is pregnant and due Feb 14. However she went for a check up yesterday and is 2 cm already so
Dh says she will give birth by Tuesday
Mom says she wont give birth on Feb 14 but way before>
She (prego lady)says she will hold on onto next sat at least

I say it depends cause with her first she had to be induced since she wouldn't open. So I told her I'm 50/50 on it. By the way she has no pain and I had major pain before reaching 2cm so she might just stay at 2 and need pitocin again
So what do you ladies think?

I bet the week of her due date. But that's going on my own experience. I stayed at 2-4 cm for almost a month. I think it was 3 weeks.

How far along was she when induced with her first child?  I had no pain and was 2-3cm with my first four babies for weeks before they were born.  With my fifth baby, I was already 5cm (no pain getting there) 30 hours before going into labor.

I was at 4 cm for over a week and they still had to induce me.  Your sister very well may not deliver until the 14th (or later).

I would guess later.i induced twice well not so much with my last baby I just got the cervidil and I went into labor after that lol. I was due may 6 at first then may 17 because the idiots never bothred to change my date after sonograms but I had her on may 26.

Yup.
Unless her ob is willing to let her be induced early but I'm sure not that early. Most like a few days before.

I would say at least another couple weeks, being dialeted 2 cm doesn't really mean anything.
