I typically just put the pork ribs, onions, and garlic salt and pepper.  I would like to try something different this time. Do any of you ladies have a good recipe?

I always make chili in my crock pot - haven't tried anything else yet!

1 mom liked this

I use a bottle of BBQ sauce, I prefer Jack Daniels Honey BBQ, and a can of beer. I add some sliced onions,  make steamed rice and pour the sauce over top. It's awesome and so moist.

I was looking to make more things in my crock pot and came across this http://www.justmommies.com/blog/2010/03/crock-pot-recipe-super-easy-fool-proof-ribs/  It uses Dr Pepper. It looks so yummy!

3 lbs. pork or beef ribs
1 c. water
1/4 c. cooking sherry
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
salt and pepper to taste
1/2 c. barbecue sauce

Place ribs standing upright in crock pot. Pour in sherry and water. Sprinkle with Worcestershire sauce and salt and pepper. Pour barbecue sauce over ribs. Cook on low approximately 8 hours. Serve with additional barbecue sauce for dipping.

This is one I tried last week, they turned out great

I would do the onions. Then some saurkraut.  Then salt and pepper to tast.   I like ribs and kraut.  I eat them over mash potatoes with some rye bread.
