If you don't know me and I don't expect many of you to know me but I was going with this guy for a year, I was 16 years old and got pregnant by him (my boyfriend Mike), well I missed my period and took the test and find out I'm pregnant then I let Mike know and he told me I'm crazy, I showed him the test and he still didn't believe me, I was scared because I still had to tell my mom and dad and he was acting like this. Well I went to my mom and I told her that I'm pregnant and I showed her the test, she really was shocked and it didn't bother her that I was pregnant, I thought she was going to start yelling at me. But anyways back to my boyfriend, I went to the doctor's after I told my mom and he finally was convinced that I was pregnant, a week later he dumped me because he didn't want to have a kid and I never heard from him since, at this time I was 10 weeks pregnant.

Well I see him and he was walking with his head down and looking away from me the entire time I was in sight of him, I didn't say nothing to him and he said nothing to me. I had my daughter (his bio daughter) with me and of course I'm pregnant with #2 with my current boyfriend. He has done nothing to help support Bree and I know he knew I was there he couldn't possibly have avoided me. I wanted to smack him in his head. I've been going with my current boyfriend since I was 16 weeks pregnant with Bree and this is our son I'm pregnant with now. This just makes me mad to see this jerk and know that he's Bree's real dad and he has to look away, she calls my boyfriend dada btw.

First off, I wanted to say that I'm glad your mom didn't freak out when you told her you were pregnant. While no mom wants her teen to have a baby, the deed is done and there's really no choice but to accept it and move on. So, good on your mom. Second is that I'm not sure what you mean by, "...a week later he dumped me because he didn't want to have a kid and I never heard from him since..." The fact is that he DOES have a kid. Breaking up with you and not talking to you doesn't make a child not exist, any more than if you didn't talk about your pregnancy would make it not exist. There does seem to be an attitude among boys, and some men, that if they ignore their part in being responsible for a pregnancy then they don't have to participate. However, they are wrong. Unless they sign over their parental rights, they are responsible. You should get a DNA test, prove that the baby is his (required for child support), and get what is owed to your child. It's not about what you want or what he wants, it's about what's best for the child you made together. He sounds like a total dickhead but if he doesn't learn that his actions have consequences then he is going to leave other women in the same position you find yourself. Good Luck!

Thanks. And as far as him dumping me, well I know he has a kid but he doesn't want to acknowledge it. He must think that it makes our daughter not exsist but I know she does, at least my current boyfriend stepped in and supported me, I will never be able to thank him enough. He also must think that since I'm the one that's pregnant that he doesn't have to do anything. I think I will do that and try to get my daughter her child support, even though my boyfriend is making enough money to support all of us I still think that it'd be better if I got child support. I'm going to have to find out where to go to talk to someone about getting it. Thank you, I hope this works.

Thank you. This would be such a huge boost to us if we can get the child support I'm owed.

I talked to my boyfriend about it and he told me that I should try to get the child support. He also said that he'd like to adopt her, do we need to be married for that though?

I plan on going on Birth Control after I have this baby. Yep I'm 18 with 2 kids, it happens. And I don't think my life is ruined at all. Just because I have a boyfriend and kids doesn't mean that I can't have the life I want either.
