At what point do you not qualify for it? Minimum wage in my state is 7.25. I make 11.70 an hour. And still qualify. How is that welfare? I'm confused. And yes I work 40 hours a week plus occasionally at my BFFs store. I'm not on any form of aid. All my bills are paid. But we still qualify.

- $45,060 ($50,270 married filing jointly) with three or more qualifying children
- $41,952 ($47,162 married filing jointly) with two qualifying children
- $36,920 ($42,130 married filing jointly) with one qualifying child
- $13,980 ($19,190 married filing jointly) with no qualifying children

It's not Welfare. But by calling it that the harpies on here who are bitter that they pay out taxes can feel justified in bashing those who do get it.

SOME people refer to it as a form of welfare because you will wind up getting more back in taxes than what you pay in. If you pay, $1000 in taxes and you get a $6000 refund, you're getting a form of welfare. That other $5000 you got back that you didn't pay in is funded by the rest of the taxpayers.
