We try to relive our first date. Usually dinner, movie, and whatever else we can think of...

Well, that is a very interesting post- yesterday was our anniversary, and there was no celebration!! That is fine with me though, I am not big on all of those silly holidays, we were as happy yesterday as the day before, and hopefully today!  I would rather it be a random Tuesday 4 months from now that he reminds me how much he loves me etc etc etc.... why on a certain day?

Usually, we are so busy we don't have time; however, sweetest day is different.  Our first sweetest day was spent at my job.  I worked a vide store and that night it was slow.  Adam bought some chocolate coverd strawberries and I popped a pink panther movie in (the one with Peter Sellers) and that is how we spend every sweetest day together.

We always get one of our moms to watch the kids overnight so we can go have a nice evening out and then get a little rest. I let my husband do the planning.  He always plans something wonderful!  We get to relax and enjoy each others company! But, for some reason I always get up early and start cleaning house the next day before we pick up the kids!Tongue out

umm it begins by my reminding him for about a month ahead of time. Then I remind him the week before. Then  remind him the day before! And usually we just spend the time sitting together on the couch talking! I keep trying to get something special out of it, but it is on our broke paycheck(that crappy all the bills are due one)! But we have a great relationship other than usually no presents. However this year for Valentines Day he out did himself. He bought me my laptop and all the junck to go with it spending about 2 grand on it!

We usually go to Daytona Beach, but last year we had so many things going on that we both forgot it, or maybe that was the year before, I don't remember (?). Anyhow, it wasn't until the following day that I remembered, we both laughed about it then said "Happy Anniversary".  We are far from home so Daytona will be out of the question for this year and there aren't any beaches here so if we remember (lol) maybe we will think up something just as nice.Tongue out

Well unfortunatly a majority of the time we try and plan something, but something else always seems to come up and we have to cancel our plans.I think this year we will just wing it and not plan anything..just find a babysitter and take off!

It depends on how busy we are and how much money we have. Oh yeah it also depends on how much energy we have. Sometimes we have a dinner/movie night in, or dinner/movie night out, or we splurge and surprise each other. One year he took me charter boat fishing, one year I took him away for a romantic weekend. It varies year to year.
