Why do some moms feel the need to "rub it in"?

I posted about having a hard time potty training my kiddo on a FB group and there were some moms who commented just to say how easy it was to potty train their kid and they didnt have any advice. Why even comment if you have no advice and you just want to rub it in? Its just rude and an easy way to irritate a frustrated mom  :/

Because you asked a question... If you don't want someone to answer about how easy it was then put that in your question..
Oh and by the way my 1st & 3rd were easy.. potty trained by 13 months... Lol

People are idiots that's why. They think saying their kid was easy is ADVICE. I don't get it either.

Some people are just like that. Even if you asked for advice, saying how easy you had it is not advice. Unless they specifically said what it was that made it easier, hoping it would help you, that's different. But I know how you feel, people like that annoy me too.

I potty trained mine while they were in the womb!

Ehhh... well my first two pretty much trained themselves. But my youngest one made up for the other two. She was a beast to train. I chalk up the ease of potty-training or not to luck.

My son potty trained on his time. I bought him a potty and potty chairs, he just had to do the work. Lol
We spent a good 6 months only wearing a diaper to bed. Then one night, he said he didnt need the diaper anymore.
