i saw on pinterest you can make a solution instead of buying your own.  This one calls for 3.5 cups of water, 1 cup of pin sol, and 1 cup of Ammonia.  Has anyone done this?  Can it be used on laminate wood floors?  If not does anyone know of any?

My question is how do you get it in the container?  I tried figuring something out, but no luck .. :(

Two companies make a device like the swiffer that you can use the swiffer pads (or an even more eco friendly washable pad) and fill the bottle with your own cleaning solution.

I have used vinegar and hot water and it works fine for me.

Now I am kicking myself for paying $20 for the swiffer.  I usually buy the off-brand pads, because they're half the price, but couldn't find a decent price on solution.

Do you happen to remember the names of the other companies?
