I am curious how many of you actually bought maternity clothing. If so what were you essential pieces and where did you shop? I am on baby three and finally broke down and order real maternity clothing instead of vainly trying to fit into my regular clothes and sweats! lol and i only spend $125 for quite a bit of stuff....I didn't think that was bad at all.

I did.  Motherhood maternity Khaki pants and Denim pants.  A lot of flowy type blouses as well as nursing tops.  I still wear my maternity tank tops 7 yrs later LOL.

I got a lot of my maternity clothing from thrift stores. I had a business casual job and had to have maternity clothes. I found lots of very nice, name brand clothing that was inexpensive so I got to buy lots of stuff and always looked cute.

I bought tops and bottoms from Kohl's or JC Penny.

I did a lot of it.  So amazingly flattering than trying to make clothes that weren't meant to fit, fit.  Pants, tops that could be mixed and a few dressier outfits.

Target. Love how the t shirts actually fit over the belly, yet don't drown you in fabric.

UGHHHH! I HATE when people don't wear maternity clothes if they can afford some! I always bought some. I usually spent about $200.

I had three pairs of jeans and two pairs of black pants, and about 15 shirts. I wore those mainly to work and just wore sweats and tshirts around the house.

I agree. It's such a bad (and uncomfortable) look.
