Wonder how many centimeters I'm dilated now?

I have figured out that dilation doesn't always mean labor will happen soon. Last  Friday I was 3cm dilated and 50% effaced. Since then, I have been cleaning house and doing alot for someone in my shape. Today, I have swept and mopped floors, finished loads of laundry, grocery shopped, walked around the neighborhood, etc etc etc. Let's not mention carrying around my 1 year old and taking care of her. I have had a lower back ache and pelvic floor aches pretty severely for the last week. I know baby is down low. I have my next OB appt Friday and I am just anxious to see how dilated I am. It's amazing to see how the pregnant body progresses. I know some don't believe in being checked, but that's not me. I like to know how the body progresses and what's happening down there ;)

Oh and I FINALLY got my hospital bag packed today. Figured I better also get that out of the way.

I was 2-3 cm with my 2nd for 3 or so weeks. I had to be induced =(

 wow.. i don't know how you do it. i'll stay 1-2 cm for a week or two but when i hit 3-4 i go into labor. good luck!! hopefully you don't go much longer. btw i like knowing where i stand also.

Ahhhhh, I never even thought of nesting. That makes sense!
