Would you say my baby is overweight? *pic*

My baby is now 7 months old. She weighs 22 pounds. We have already had to buy a new car seat because she outgrew her infant carrier seat. She is wearing size 9 and 12 month clothes.

Here she is:

She is a very happy, healthy and incredibly active baby. She does not overeat - we actually have a hard time getting her to eat sometimes. Whether it's baby food or bottles, she quite often doesn't finish a "meal".

I measured large throughout my entire pregnancy with her. She was 9 pounds at birth. And during her well child check-ups from birth to now, she has always measured in the 90th percentile, so her growth is consistent.

I am a small person, but her father is 6'4" and 250 pounds. His entire family are BIG people.

So would you say she's overweight, or just big for her age?

Thank you all for your wonderful replies! And all your compliments to my little cutie are greatly appreciated. In all honesty, I did not make this post because I was concerned about her weight. I think she's perfect, and her doctor has never voiced any concern. I just wanted to see what the CM fanatics would say, since it is all too common for women on here to bash mothers who have children that are on the bigger side.

I do not think she is fat. I think she is absolutely perfect in every way. I appreciate her adorable chubbiness and I'm sure I'll miss it when it's gone. :) And in the meantime, I'll continue to squeeze, tickle and snuggle this chubby little stinker as much as possible. And for those of you who asked - no. You can't have her!! She's all mine! lol

babies can never  be too fat so if anyone does say anything ... IGNORE them.  my son was HUGE as a child and now he is skinny. all a chubby represents is HEALTHY  =)  cute cute little girl you have!!

I think she is absolutely adorable. As long as her doctors aren't concerned, then I wouldn't worry. Congrats momma - you have one beautiful doll!

your baby is absolutely adorable. walking will help thin her out when she gets to that point. my.17 month old has stayed at 26 lbs for quite some time. she was once a chubby little thing (and really still is)

She is adorable. I love little chunky monkey babies. I think fat babies look healthier then skinny babies. They usually grow out of it. When my son was 3 months old he weighed 20lbs and now he is 7 and weighs 50lbs. I love the little rolls lol. She is a doll.

She is way to cute. I don't understand people commenting about kids eating to much or to little. I have someone that tells me to feed mine. Shes 5 and weighs 39 lbs and is 42 inches tall.

she is a baby and will slim down once she starts walking.  My dd was chubby like this as an infant and adorable like your baby.  She is now a normal size 16 yr old.  It does not mean she will be chubby later in life.
