I am looking at coordinating a group of exchange students this summer. I was wondering if anyone here has ever done that. What are the best ways to find host families? I don't have many family or friends in the area and I don't go to church.

When I was an exchange student we stayed with families whose kids had previously been involved... Then we hosted a kid the year after I went. Kwim?

The my daughters French teacher sent letters home. Ask the local high school for leads.

That's a good idea. I also asked my 16 yr old to post on her FB. I told her I'd pay her for each family she can find. She goes to online school now so she can't ask her teachers to pass out fliers.
