DD's 6th birthday party is this Sunday at the gym where she does gymnastics from 1:30-3. The first hour the kids will have free range in the gym, the last 1/2 hr will be cake and presents. The parents can either be in the gym with the kids or in the viewing room (like a fishbowl where they can watch from). Since it's not lunch time and the kids are going to be running around anyway, I was only going to serve light finger foods for the parents to nibble on while the kids play. I'm thinking a veggie platter and some chips and dip...or maybe a fruit platter with chips and dip. Thoughts? Should I have more? I didn't mention serving any food on the invites, fyi.
Ohh and we are expecting 15 kids.
