6 weeks is really early for a heart beat.  8 or even 10 is going to be more reliable.

they really can't hear a heart beat very well before 10 or 11 weeks... if you are really lucky maybe at 8 or 9 they might get something

Too early. My friend is about 8 or so weeks and had and appointment last week where she was told it's a little too early for that.

The best thing you could so is relax though, just go with the flow right now.

It's too early to hear a heart beat. I think it was closer to 12 weeks before I was able to hear it in the doctor's office. Just try to relax. Your numbers are going up, so that's a good sign. I was sacared in 2009 with my last pregancy. I had misscarried just a couple of months before getting pregnant. I saw the morning sickness a wonderful sign with him. I had ZERO morning sickness with the one I lost.

Keep your head up. You're in my prayers.
