I just started pumping ( one side to increase milk) and nothing is coming out. HELP!

UPDATE: So today I mastered pumping and nursing at the same time and I got one ounce. So this brings on all kinds of questions like can I refrigerate the one ounce and add to it later with fresh milk? How long can I refrigerate for?

how long? are you stressed? have you tried looking or thinking about your baby to get let down? sometimes you might have to wait 5 min or so.. so sorry. not everyone can pump, hugs!

Pump while nursing that may help. Four breastfed children and I never was able to pump very much. There were times I held a cup under my nipple because I'd leak during nursing. No sense in wasting what came out lol.

Talk to your doctor before you go balistic. That's what he's there for.
