Do you allow unbuckled adults in your car?

Posted by   + Show Post

The other thread got me wondering....

I know that most of us make sure our children are buckled up in the car....but what about other adults riding with you?  Do you insist that adults riding in your car buckle up?  (I'm talking about in YOUR car/when you are driving....not when you are a passenger in THEIR car.)

Yes. In MY car, the car doesn't move unless EVERYONE is buckled in.

Nope. They do not like it, they are more than welcome to walk.

I don't drive. But I don't get in a car unless everyone's buckled up. I will straight up refuse to ride in your car if you're not buckled, lol.

Most of DH's family doesn't buckle. DH only half the time does. He was in a terrible accident right before we met and he wasn't wearing his seatbelt. Had he worn it he'd be dead. You never know. Now our DD and I ALWAYS wear ours.
