Do u think it Is okay to let a 15 month old cry it out for naptime? I'm trying to get my son on a schedule for naps and bedtime.. What tips do you have to put him on a schedule?

I know the " cry it out" method is debated. I used it and found that most often my kids were overtired. This is not to be confused with the "I don't want to deal with my kid and will let them cry in their crib for hours" method lol

The correct way of CIO is waiting 5 minutes, then you go in put the child back down and rub their back in a soothing manner. The new supernanny on Lifetime used a different method of cio where the parent stayed in room rubbing the back of child while making shushing noises, if the child got up, you lay them back down.  The child i saw featured was 14 months old

In no way is CIO meant to leave them screaming for hours on end.
